SAN YSIDRO, California (May 12, 2016) — A woman identified as Cecilia Quenery Valdez, 69, was killed Wednesday night in a pedestrian accident on Dairy Mart Road, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
Police say the woman was crossing in the 2000 block of Dairy Mart Road when she was struck by a driver in a Mazda Miata. The 22-year-old driver was heading northbound on Dairy Mart Road when he hit the victim, Cecilia Valdez.
Police are investigating the crash and will issue a report determining liability.
