Double Fatal Car Accident at Old River and Herring Road
Kern County, CA (March 4, 2022) – Sandra Gayle Conway, and Andrew John Czarny both died following a traffic collision that occurred in the area of Old River and Herring Road.
The KGET News reported 35-year-old Czarny, of Riverside, was behind the wheel of a sedan traveling west on Herring Road. Preliminary investigation revealed Czarny drove through the stop sign at the intersection and collided with a semi truck. The catastrophic incident took place on February 25, Friday.
When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found the sedan overturned. The crash instantly killed Czarny and a 37-year-old passenger. The Kern County Coroner’s Office later identified the deceased passenger as Sandra Gayle Conway, of Moreno Valley.
Officials added a third occupant in the sedan sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. Meanwhile, the driver of the truck appeared unharmed after the collision.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly car accident at Old River and Herring Road.
