Woman, 71, Killed in Crash on West Main Street
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (August 1, 2023) — Sandra Leps Poe, 71, of Barstow, died in a pedestrian accident Monday, July 24th on Main Street in Barstow.
The deadly crash occurred around 9:34 p.m. near Woodhill Avenue, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
Officers with the Barstow Police Department responded to West Main Street and located the victim down in the roadway after she was struck by a vehicle.
She died at the scene around 9:40 p.m. and was later identified by the coroner.

The Barstow Police Department is heading up the investigation. It’s unknown at this time if the motorist involved stopped after the crash.
