Woman Killed in Crash Involving Big Rig on I-10

 Sandy Rocha Fatal Baldwin Park Crash 10 Freeway, Frazier StreetBALDWIN PARK, Calif. (Aug. 2, 2021) –Sandy Rocha, 36, of Los Angeles, died in a fatal Baldwin Park crash with a semi-truck on the Interstate 10 Freeway.

The woman was driving a 2011 Hyundai that reportedly rear-ended a big rig truck on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Baldwin Park.

The Baldwin Park traffic accident happened about 4:15 a.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2021 in the westbound lanes of the freeway at Frazier Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Baldwin Park Crash Investigation

Investigators believe the car rear-ended the 2013 Freightliner because of unsafe speed, the CHP said. Sandy Rocha was pronounced dead at the scene of the Baldwin Park crash. Meanwhile, the big-rig truck driver suffered no injuries.

Investigators with the CHP’s Baldwin Park area office ask witnesses to call them at 626-338-1164.
