1 Hospitalized After Head-On Crash on North Avenue Friday
Sanger, CA (May 7, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident on North Avenue in Sanger Friday morning, the FOX26 News reported.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a Chevy Camaro was heading west on North Avenue at about 6 a.m. When the Chevy approached the area near De Wolf Avenue, it veered into the center of the road. The Chevy ended up crashing head-on into an oncoming pickup truck.
Minor Injury Car Accident in Sanger, May 7
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the possible victims. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed a passenger from the pickup truck sustained minor injuries as a result of the wreck. Paramedics reportedly transported the patient to a hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Meanwhile, investigators mentioned the brakes of the Chevy failed and caused the vehicle to skid into opposite traffic.
Additional details on the collision have not been discussed thus far. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the crash.
