1 Injured in Sanger Crash at McCall Avenue and California Avenue
SANGER, CA (August 5, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at McCall Avenue and California Avenue in Sanger.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident occurred on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 8 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Sanger. The two crashed at the intersection of South McCall Avenue and East California Avenue.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the cars as a maroon Nissan Maxima and a pickup truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 180.
Medical personnel found one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to a Selma hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of McCall and California avenues to close following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Sanger crash.
