Man, 50, Killed in Sanger Hit-and-Run Near Greenwood Avenue and North Avenue
SANGER, CA (June 25, 2021) – A man was killed after a hit-and-run crash near Greenwood Avenue and North Avenue outside Sanger.
The California Highway Patrol said a vehicle struck the 50-year-old man for an unknown reason in Sanger. The driver was going south on Greenwood Avenue near North Avenue when they hit him.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the person left lying on the ground. He died as a result of the crash.
The name of the deceased victim remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
They described the car as a black pickup truck, possibly with lights on the roof. The pickup obtained front-end damage following the collision. The Sanger hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
