SANTA ANA: 2-Car Accident on 55 and 405 Freeways
Traffic Delays After Santa Ana Car Accident
SANTA ANA, California (April 1, 2014) – Two drivers collided Tuesday afternoon in a crash on the northbound State Route 55 and Interstate 405 freeways, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 12:39 p.m., CHP officers responded to the crash involving the drivers of a 2005 Toyota Camry and a green Toyota RAV 4. Two other cars were also blocking traffic in the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the 55 Freeway near the 405 Freeway transition.
Paramedics were not called to the accident, however, those involved may suffer injuries to their back, neck and head that could require treatment as pain sets in over the next 24 hours.
“It’s typical for people involved in car accidents to realize they are hurt the following day as soft-tissue injuries often go unnoticed immediately after a crash,” said Attorney James Johnson, a car accident specialist in Orange County, California. “Hopefully no one was hurt in this crash.”
