Multi-Vehicle Crash on State Route 55 in Orange County
SANTA ANA, Calif. (July 11, 2024) — A multi-vehicle Santa Ana car accident happened Thursday morning on the southbound Costa Mesa 55 Freeway, just north of Dyer Road in Orange County.
The three-vehicle crash occurred at around 11:32 a.m. on July 11th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a grey Honda, a navy blue Honda Civic were among the vehicles involved, but it’s unknown what led up to the traffic accident.
Paramedics from the Orange County Fire Authority responded to help those injured, but there are no further details.
Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles blocking the slow lanes and investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on the 55 Freeway in Santa Ana.
