3-Vehicle Santa Ana Crash I-5 Freeway at Grand Avenue
SANTA ANA, Calif. (April 13, 2021) — A Santa Ana car accident happened Tuesday on the Interstate 5 Freeway in Orange County.
The collision happened about 8:28 a.m. between a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, a black Chrysler PT Cruiser sedan and a Chevrolet sedan, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles blocked the HOV lane and were in the center divider just north of Grand Avenue after the crash. The cause of the collision is unknown at this time, but it appears to be a chain-reaction accident. Stop and go traffic often leads to these types of collisions.

Additionally, the Chevrolet sedan had minor rear and front-end damage. A tow truck removed the vehicle from the freeway.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded, but it’s unknown if anyone was hurt in the crash.
