2-Vehicle Crash at Santa Ana Intersection

SANTA ANA, Calif. (Nov. 11, 2022) – A major Santa Ana crash happened Thursday night at the intersection of East MacArthur Boulevard and MacArthur Place.

The two-car collision occurred around 9:19 p.m. on Nov. 10th between the drivers of a black 2018 Ford Fusion and a black 2018 Nissan Rogue, according to a report and video posted by County News.

Metro Net Fire Authority sent firefighters to the scene who used the Jaws of Life to extricate one man trapped in the Nissan which had overturned onto its side. They removed the roof of the vehicle and rescued the injured man.

Also, the person trapped in the vehicle appeared to be conscious as firefighters got him into the ambulance.

Meanwhile, the second driver in the Ford turned down an offer of medical treatment.

The Santa Ana Police Department is heading up the investigation into the crash on MacArthur Boulevard.
