Traffic Accident on 55 Freeway in Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, Calif. (April 27, 2022) – A Santa Ana crash involving at least two vehicles happened Wednesday morning on the 55 Freeway, just north of Dyer Road.
The collision occurred about 8 a.m., on April 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a red Mercedes and a black Audio were involved in the collision. The vehicles blocked the southbound HOV and No. 1 lanes of the freeway.
Police issued a SigAlert for about an hour due to the crash.
Meanwhile, paramedics responded to help those hurt in the Santa Ana crash. Tow trucks removed both of the vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Santa Ana crash on the 55 Freeway.
