Pedestrian Killed in Santa Ana Crash at Harbor Boulevard and 1st Street
SANTA ANA, CA (April 27, 2021) – A pedestrian accident at Harbor Boulevard and 1st Street killed a man in Santa Ana.
According to The Orange County Register and My News LA, the tragic incident occurred late Monday night. Officers reported the crash on April 26 at about 10:28 p.m.
Police said the incident happened when a male pedestrian was crossing 1st Street, just east of Harbor Boulevard, in Santa Ana. At the same time, a vehicle was going west on 1st Street.
For an unknown reason, the driver hit the man at the intersection. Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found him down on the ground.

The victim ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed him to a local hospital, where he died.
The name of the deceased person has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist involved stopped after hitting the man.
The driver stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the officers. Officials forced the road to shut down for a time following the collision.
