SANTA ANA (June 27, 2016)-According to the Orang Coroner, deadly pedestrian identified as Garrett Cox, 18, of Tustin, was killed after being involved with a semi-truck on Friday, June 24, 2015.
The incident occurred early in the morning at 1:55 a.m. on the northbound 55 freeway just at 17th Street.
The Santa Ana Police Department arrived quickly to help the victim man, however, it was too late. Garrett Cox was pronounced deceased at the scene .
Police officials have not specified any other information at this time regarding what exactly triggered the initial collision.
