SANTA ANA, California (March 17, 2017) – A motorcyclist was killed after an alleged hit-and-run crash in the area of Standard Avenue and Walnut Street Friday afternoon, according to The Orange County Register.
The accident took place around 5:15 p.m.
As per the article, Santa Ana police said 36-year-old Eduardo Estrada Luevano was riding a 2006 Yamaha south on South Standard Avenue when at the same time a white utility van made a left turn on East Walnut Street.
Luevano, of Santa Ana, then collided with the van. He was immediately taken to the Orange County Global Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
