Multi-Vehicle Crash I-5 Freeway, 4th Street in Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, Calif. (Oct. 15, 2020) — A multi-vehicle crash was reported Thursday afternoon on the I-5 Freeway at 4th Street in Santa Ana.
The crash was reported at 12:53 p.m. on Oct. 15th in the carpool lane and four other lanes of the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Six or seven vehicles were involved, along with a big rig truck, the report said. The vehicles were blocking the roadway.

Meanwhile, a SigAlert was issued and paramedics responded to check for injuries. It’s unknown how many people were hurt in the crash, nor if anyone
was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
Additionally, at least two flatbed tow trucks were called to remove damaged vehicles. Also, police investigating the crash and hoping that witnesses will come forward to help them determine liability.
These types of collisions are common on the Interstate 5 Freeway in Orange County. Take steps to ensure you are safe when traveling on major freeways by wearing a seatbelt and obeying posted traffic speed limits.
