SANTA ANA: Multi-Vehicle Crash I-5 Freeway at East 4th Street

SANTA ANA, Calif., (July 30, 2026) — A crash involving multiple vehicles took place Thursday night in Santa Ana on the northbound I-5 Freeway near 4th Street, resulting in unknown injuries.
The incident occurred on July 30th at approximately 4:28 p.m., involving a gray 2026 Mazda CX-30, a white BMW sedan, a black sedan, and a black Honda CR-V. The collision reportedly caused a blockage in the second lane from the right, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Responding officers arrived on the scene by 4:33 p.m. and coordinated efforts to clear the roadway. A rotation request was made for towing services to manage the damaged vehicles. A black Honda CR-V sustained front-end damage, while the white BMW sedan incurred major rear damage.
The collision remains under investigation by local authorities, who are asking any witnesses to come forward with additional information.
