Innocent Driver Injured in Collision at Raitt Street and Segerstrom Avenue Tuesday
Santa Ana, CA (June 2, 2021) – One person suffered injuries following a car crash in the area of Raitt Street and Segerstrom Avenue Tuesday evening.
The Orange County Register reported the incident began near the intersection of Fifth and Laurel streets. Preliminary investigation revealed police attempted to pull over a vehicle for a traffic violation. However, the driver failed to stop and sped away from the officers.
The Santa Ana police immediately pursued the suspect vehicle.
According to the article published online, the suspect drove against stop signs and reached speeds of roughly 60 mph.
Our sources indicated the chase came to an end after the suspect collided with an innocent motorist at the intersection of Raitt Street and Segerstrom Avenue. Authorities later confirmed a person in the victim vehicle sustained minor injuries as a result of the mishap. Pending confirmation, the name of the injured party remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, officers reportedly arrested the driver and passenger of the pursued car. Both parties were taken into custody without further incident.
