2 Critically Injured in Santa Barbara Collision
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (August 9, 2018) – Two people suffered major injuries Wednesday afternoon in a possible DUI collision on the U.S. Highway 101, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The 3-vehicle collision took place in the southbound lanes about 2 p.m. near the El Capitan State Beach
Paramedics transported two people by ambulances to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
There was heavy traffic in the area after the collision as two southbound lanes were closed due to the wreck.

At this time, we do not know all the facts about this case. It’s unknown how many drivers are responsible and whether or not any road conditions or traffic violations were factors.
