3 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 154
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (Jan. 16, 2020) — Three people were injured Thursday morning in a collision on Highway 154 near San Marcos Pass.
The collision involved a sedan and a flat-bed truck, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
Police say the collision took place about 8:30 a.m. and involved one of the motorists driving at high speed.
The crash took place on the highway at Paradise Road, fire officials said.
Paramedics treated one person with moderate injuries, and two others for minor injuries before they were taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
Police closed the eastbound lanes of the highway due to the debris and vehicles in the roadway.
The California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation.
