Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Santa Barbara Car Accident
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (July 12, 2018) – A bicyclist was seriously injured Thursday morning in a collision with a vehicle at Victoria Avenue and De La Vina Street, according to the Santa Barbara Police Department.
The collision took place about 9 a.m. at the intersection. Paramedics responded to the scene and rushed the injured cyclist to a hospital for treatment of broken bones and other injuries.
The report does not say what led to the crash or who is liable. A full investigation by police will determine fault and whether any charges or citations will be made.
