Minor Injury Collision on Highway 192 at Toro Canyon Road Monday
Santa Barbara, CA (August 30, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on State Route 192, according to the California Highway Patrol log.
Earlier reports indicated a vehicle veered off the roadway while traveling in the area of SR-192 and Toro Canyon Road. Officials said the white Toyota Camry ended up slamming into a telephone pole along the freeway in Santa Barbara.
Shortly after 4:23 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the crash site. First responders found the Camry with significant front-end damage.
At Least 1 Hospitalized After Car Accident in Santa Barbara, August 30
Paramedics at the scene immediately rendered aid to all occupants of the Camry. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance transported the patient to the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
Additional details on the wreck have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car accident on State Route 192 happened.
