1 Injured in Santa Barbara Crash on Highway 101 Near Mission Street
SANTA BARBARA, CA (December 1, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 101 near Mission Street in Santa Barbara.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on November 29 at about 4:34 p.m.
According to CHP, four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Santa Barbara. They crashed on the southbound side of Highway 101, just south Mission Street.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The dispatch described three of the cars involved as a Ford compact car, a Toyota SUV and a blue Toyota Matrix. The Ford obtained front-end damage while the Toyota SUV came to a rest with rear-end damage.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the Matrix with front-end and rear-end damage. One person ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
