3 Injured in Santa Barbara Head-On Crash on Highway 154 Sunday
SANTA BARBARA (January 13, 2019) – Three were seriously injured after a traffic collision on Highway 154 early Sunday, according to Noozhawk.
The accident took place at about 1:30 a.m., a quarter mile west of San Antonio Creek Road.
As per the article, Santa Barbara County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol said for an unknown reason two vehicles collided head-on on Highway 145. The highway is also known as San Marcos Pass Road.
One of the cars involved caught fire as a result of the crash. A total of three people were hurt in the wreck.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated two parties who were trapped inside one vehicle. The sole occupant of the burning sedan was able to escape from the wreckage.
All three patients were transported by ground ambulances to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with major injuries. Their names and condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, Highway 154 was forced to shut down for more than an hour following the wreck. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
