Multi-Vehicle Collision on US 101 in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (Jan. 29, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Monday on US Highway 101 at the Las Positas Road exit in Santa Barbara.
The collision occurred in the southbound lanes at around 12:27 p.m. on Jan. 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the collision involved a white Toyota Camry, a blue Toyota 4-door sedan, and a white Toyota Tundra pickup truck.
The Tundra has a left-rear wheel broken in the crash and required a tow truck. The blue Toyota also required a tow due to damage from the crash.
Paramedics responded and helped at least one person with minor injuries.
The cause of the crash and liability remains to be determined.
