Woman Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Highway 101 Sunday
Santa Barbara, CA (July 11, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 101 Sunday morning.
The KEYT News reported a female party was seen standing in the center divider of the freeway at about 12:55 a.m. For an unknown reason, the woman stepped into traffic. A passing vehicle eventually struck the pedestrian on Highway 101. The horrible crash took place near the Garden Street onramp.

When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian with serious injuries. According to the article published online, the woman later sadly died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
