The accident happened at around 12:30 p.m. in front CVS Pharmacy.
Preliminary report stated that two vehicles were traveling on their respective lane ways when suddenly, they collided with each other.
The event caused an involved sedan to turn over on the roadway. After a couple rolls, it came to rest on its roof at the middle of the intersection, as mentioned in the article.
The force from the impact briefly trapped the female motorist of the sedan. She was immediately rescued by the responding paramedic team which listed her to have sustained minor injuries.
The Noozhawk published that the patient was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for proper treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver from the other wrecked automobile was safe. The officers have not yet given their final statement if there were other wounded from the incident.
The cause of the injury smash remained under investigation. Authorities handling the case continue to take their time in gathering all necessary evidences before pronouncing citations and closure on the matter.
