Motorcyclist Hit and Badly Injured by Car on Highway 154
SANTA BARBARA (May 14, 2018) – A motorcyclist was badly injured after a traffic collision on Highway 154 near Windy Gap late Friday night, May 11, according to Noozhawk and KSBY.
The accident was reported at about 10:15 p.m. in the area where North San Marcos Road and Painted Cave Road meet Highway 154.
As per the reports, Santa Barbara County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol said a male motorcyclist was going west on Highway 154 toward Santa Ynez when for an unknown reason he lost control of his bike.

The rider was then struck by silver Audi headed east at the time. He was thrown from his bike upon impact.
Officials affirmed that the rider was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with injuries considered as moderate. His name and condition at this time remained unknown.
Meanwhile, the Audi at the scene sustained major front-end damage in the wreck. Two more cars became apparently involved and had minor damage in the process. One of those vehicles appeared to be a white PT Cruiser.
