Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Santa Barbara Crash at Hutash and Voluntario
SANTA BARBARA, CA (March 30, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Hutash and Voluntario streets in Santa Barbara.
According to the KEYT News and KSBY News, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at around 4:45 p.m.
Police said the motorcycle rider and a white Lexus SUV collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of Hutash and South Voluntario streets.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the Lexus ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the Santa Barbara crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Hutash and Voluntario streets to shut down after the incident.
