At Least 1 Hurt in Collision Near Milpas Street
Santa Barbara, CA (April 23, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred on Highway 101 resulted in injuries, the KEYT News reported.
5-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara
Our sources indicated multiple vehicles collided on SR-101 near the southbound Milpas Street offramp Friday evening. According to the article published online, the wreck involved as many as five cars. The make and model of the automobiles involved in the crash have not been revealed thus far.
Shortly after 5 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, medical personnel transported at least one patient to Cottage Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Detectives stayed at the scene for several hours. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the accident happened on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara.
