3 Pedestrians Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Anacapa and Anapamu

January 12, 2019 – Multiple pedestrians were injured after being struck by a vehicle in the area of Anacapa and Anapamu streets Saturday morning, according to Noozhawk.
Tha accident happened at about 9:30 a.m.
Initials reports indicated a vehicle was heading south on the one-way Anacapa Street, then made a made a left turn onto Anapamu. For reasons still under investigation, that vehicle hit three pedestrians who were attempting to cross Anapamu at that time.

Responding paramedics found all three pedestrians suffering in injuries as a result of the collision. As per the article, one victim was taken by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Furthermore, the other two sustained minor injuries but apparently declined medical care.
Meanwhile, the driver, whose name was not immediately available, was reportedly cited for failure to yield to pedestrians following the incident.
