Major Injury Cash on La Cumbre Road

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (Oct. 16, 2023) — A man suffered major injuries in a pedestrian accident at La Cumbre Road and State Street in Santa Barbara.

The collision occurred at around 9:40 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13th, according to the Santa Barbara City Fire Department and Noozhawk.

A driver struck the pedestrian due to unknown circumstances, leaving him with major injuries.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene on La Cumbre Road near State Street.

They transported the many by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

There are no details about the driver involved in the crash at this time.

The case remains under investigation to determine fault.
