Man Hit and Injured by Vehicle Near Foothill Road
Santa Barbara, CA (August 16, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 154, the Noozhawk News reported.
Our sources indicated a small SUV struck an individual in the westbound side of the highway. The catastrophic incident took place just south of Foothill Road in Santa Barbara.
Pedestrian Hospitalized After Accident on Highway 154 in Santa Barbara
Shortly after 10 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics found the pedestrian pinned underneath the vehicle. Firefighters worked extensively to pull out the victim, then transported them to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment and further evaluation. Personal information on the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Meanwhile, detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on highway 154 in Santa Barbara.
