Major Injury Collision State Route 154 Tuesday
Santa Barbara, CA (August 24, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 154, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
A large truck overturned in the area of Highway 154 and Painted Cave Road Tuesday morning. At this time, it remained unclear if there were other vehicles involved in the wreck.

Shortly after 9:11 a.m., medical personnel arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics immediate rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person suffered major injuries as a result of the incident. The name of the patient, and their age remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Investigators assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the truck accident in Santa Barbara.
