Six Injured in Crash on 5 Freeway
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (August 30, 2021) – A Santa Clarita car accident happened Sunday night on the Interstate 5 Freeway, leaving six people with injuries.
Three adults and three children were injured after the two-vehicle collision on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Santa Clarita, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Additionally, one of them was ejected from an SUV during the Santa Clarita car accident, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
Furthermore, the traffic accident happened at 10:51 p.m. on Sunday, August 29th. A driver in an SUV stalled in the number 3 lane on the northbound side of the freeway. This happened just north of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway, police said.

Also, a second vehicle allegedly collided with the stalled vehicle and the SUV overturned.
Paramedics transported the injured people by ambulances to hospitals in the area. Their condition is unknown at this time. The report does not release their age and gender.
Meanwhile, investigators will determine liability for the Santa Clarita car accident.
