
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (Jan. 20, 2023) — Two crashes involving multiple vehicles occurred in Santa Clarita on the Antelope Valley 14 Freeway happened Friday near Los Pinetos Road.
The collisions occurred in the southbound HOV and No. 1 lanes about 8:25 a.m. on Jan. 20th, just south of Newhall, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Six vehicles were involved including two Teslas, a van, two Dodge Chargers and a Toyota Corolla sedan, the report said. Two of the vehicles were involved in one collision with no injuries and the other four were involved in a separate crash involving minor injuries.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those injured in the Santa Clarita crash. They transported at least one person with minor injuries to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.
Tow trucks removed at least one of the vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Santa Clarita crashes on the 14 Freeway.
