Multi-Vehicle Injury Crash in Santa Clarita
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (Oct. 12, 2022) — A multi-vehicle crash happened Wednesday morning in Santa Clarita on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at the Sand Canyon Road on ramp.
The collision occurred in the southbound lanes of the freeway about 8:33 a.m. on Oct. 12th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The drivers of a Nissan Cube, a black sedan and a white Toyota collided in the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway.
Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the crash. One person in the Nissan suffered an injury that left him or her bleeding from the head. Police issued a SigAlert for the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes, but the No. 4 lane was still moving.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed at least one of the damaged vehicles from the freeway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Santa Clarita crash on the Antelope Valley 14 Freeway.
