4 Injured in Car Accident on I-5 Freeway
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (June 28, 2023) — Four people were hospitalized Wednesday after a Santa Clarita crash on the Interstate 5 Freeway, just north of Weldon Canyon Road.
The 3-vehicle collision occurred in the northbound lanes around 11:44 a.m. on June 28th, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
Multi-Vehicle Santa Clarita Crash
CHP officials reported the drivers of a blue Mini Cooper, a grey or blue Toyota Corolla and a big rig car hauler were involved.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those injured in the collision. One man was having chest pain and vomiting after the collision. Three others were also injured in the crash, but there are no specific details. Paramedics transported a total of four people to Henry Mayo Hospital.
There is an investigation underway to determine liability for the Santa Clarita crash on the Interstate 5 Freeway.
