Joe Lopez, 25, of Littlerock, Arrested on Suspicion of DUI

Fatal crash 14 Freeway, suspected DUI driver Joe Lopez arrested.
SANTA CLARITA, California — A suspected drunk driver was arrested after he allegedly collided with a parked vehicle and the crash killed a man early Monday morning on the 14 Antelope Valley Freeway, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The victim has not been identified at this time, but Joe Lopez, 25, of Littlerock was arrested and charged with DUI.
The fiery crash was reported about 5:30 a.m. this morning on the side of the freeway, just north of Soledad Canyon Road.
The vehicles involved were a gray 2004 Toyota Matrix and a light-colored 2007 Toyota Corolla.
Lopez was driving the Matrix northbound in the No. 4 lane when for unknown reasons the vehicle drifted toward the shoulder and struck the back end of the Corolla that was parked there.
Police arrested Lopez at the scene of the fatal crash after they suspected alcohol and or drugs were involved.
