Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on Interstate 14 Thursday
Santa Clarita, CA (May 20, 2021) – A motorcycle rider suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident on Interstate 14 Freeway Thursday evening, the Signal News reported.
Authorities said a motorcyclist collided with a big rig on the northbound lanes of Highway 14. Primary reports indicated the horrible crash took place near the junction at Newhall Avenue in Santa Clarita. The force from the impact caused the rider to go airborne.

Shortly after 6:50 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the site and found the motorcyclist lying unconscious on the road. Medical personnel sadly pronounced the rider dead at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
No immediate information was available on the operator of the truck involved in the unfortunate event.
At this time, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the fatal motorcycle crash on 14 Freeway in Santa Clarita happened.
