Motorcyclist Injured in Santa Clarita Crash at Westford and Hillsborough
SANTA CLARITA, CA (September 10, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash at Westford Place and Hillsborough Parkway in Santa Clarita.
According to an article published by The Signal, the accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:40 p.m.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said the motorcycle rider and a vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Santa Clarita.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
The two crashed at the intersection of Westford Place and Hillsborough Parkway. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist hurt in the roadway.
The victim sustained unspecified injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then took the patient to the hospital for treatment.
Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Westford and Hillsborough to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Santa Clarita crash.
