SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (March 8, 2023) — A 3-vehicle Santa Clarita crash on the southbound Antelope Valley 14 Freeway happened Wednesday morning, just south of Sand Canyon Road.
The collision occurred about 7:08 a.m. on March 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The vehicles involved — a gold Mercedes Benz, a Chevrolet Bolt and a red Honda Civic — were blocking the HOV lane. It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision during the busy rush-hour on the freeway.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those injured in the crash, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles including the Honda with left, front broken axle and the Chevrolet with a broken right rear axle.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Santa Clarita crash on the 14 Freeway.
