Pedestrian Hospitalized After Collision at Sandy and Grace in Canyon Country Friday
Santa Clarita, CA (May 21, 2021) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident in the area of Sandy Drive and Grace Lane Friday evening.
According to KHTS News, a vehicle struck an individual at an intersection in the Canyon Country neighborhood. The collision took place just west of Sierra Highway in Santa Clarita.
Major Injury Pedestrian Accident in Santa Clarita, May 21
Emergency crews arrived at the crash site around 7:20 p.m. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian found with major injuries. Due to the condition of the pedestrian, medical personnel rushed them to a hospital for treatment.
Primary reports indicated the incident possibly involved a second pedestrian. However, no immediate information was available on the other party possibly struck by the vehicle.
Several factors surrounding the collision remained unclear. Given that, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the exact cause of the pedestrian accident in Santa Clarita.
