Pedestrian Injured in Santa Clarita Crash on Marci Way Sunday
SANTA CLARITA, CA (February 13, 2022) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after a crash on Marci Way in Santa Clarita.
According to the CBS Los Angeles and My News LA, the accident took place late Sunday night. Officers reported the collision at around 10 p.m.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department said a vehicle struck the pedestrian in Santa Clarita. For an unknown reason, the driver hit the person on Marci Way and a building nearby.
Driver Hits Victim and Building
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the victim who ended up pinned underneath the car as a result of the collision
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. Officers forced a stretch of Marci Way to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the Santa Clarita pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
