SANTA CRUZ (June 7, 2016)- According to the San Jose Mercury News, Cesar Olaiz, 35, of San Jose, has been identified as the victim killed in a deadly hit-and-run took place Sunday evening, June 5th, on Highway 1.
At 7:15 p.m, Cesar Olaiz was traveling southbound along Highway 1 lost control and hit and concrete wall.
Olaiz was ejected from the bike and struck by a passing vehicle whose driver failed to render aid after the collision.
No information has been released at this time regarding the hit-and-run driver or vehicle.
California Highway Patrol officials are investigating and would like anyone would information to contact their Santa Cruz office.
