Motorcyclist Injured in Crash Near Zayante Road and Sylvan Way
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA (January 3, 2022) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash near Zayante Road and Sylvan Way in Santa Cruz County
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck on January 2 at about 9:11 a.m.
The incident happened when the rider of a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a silver Toyota Prius collided in the Zayante area of Santa Cruz County.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
For an unknown reason, the two collided near the intersection of East Zayante Road and Sylvan Way. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Medical personnel found the motorcyclist who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the patient to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP added that the car obtained moderate front-end damage due to the impact of the collision.
Officers forced the corner of Zayante and Sylvan to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Santa Cruz County is still under investigation.
