Santa Cruz hit-and-run Soquel Paul Sweet
1 Injured in Santa Cruz Hit-and-Run Crash at Soquel Drive and Paul Sweet Road
SANTA CRUZ, CA (June 8, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person at Soquel Drive and Paul Sweet Road in Santa Cruz.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:13 p.m.
Their report log said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Santa Cruz. They crashed at the intersection of Soquel Drive and Paul Sweet Road.
2 Cars Collide Near Highway 1
CHP described the cars involved as a silver Subaru sedan and a black Dodge Charger. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Highway 1.
Medical personnel then found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They provided treatment to the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck.
The name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time were not released. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the one of the drivers involved did not render aid and left the area.
Officials shut down the intersection of Soquel and Paul Sweet following the collision. Authorities are still searching for the suspect. The Santa Cruz hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
