Motorcyclist Injured in Santa Cruz Crash on Soquel Avenue
SANTA CRUZ (December 20, 2018) – A motorcyclist was injured after a traffic collision along Soquel Avenue on Tuesday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
The accident took place shortly after 2:50 p.m. near Highway 1.
CHP first logged the incident when a motorcycle and a gray sedan collided for an unknown reason in the 2900 block of Soquel Avenue.

Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to the rider who was determine to have been hurt as a result of the crash.
The motorcycle operator, whose name was not disclosed, suffered minor injuries upon impact. It was not specified in the report whether the patient was treated at the site or was hospitalized for further aid.
Authorities are gathering more information and evidence to determine the cause of the wreck.
