Dirt Bike Rider Hits Man Near Rodriguez Street
Santa Cruz, CA (September 4, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on 7th Avenue, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
On August 1, Monday, a juvenile riding on a dirt bike struck a pedestrian on 7th near Rodriguez Street. The CHP logged the case at about 8:47 p.m.
Major Injury Pedestrian Accident on 7th Avenue in Santa Cruz
Emergency crews responded to the scene and checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, officers confirmed the pedestrian sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The name of the victim, and their condition at this time have not been revealed thus far.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the accident happened on on 7th Avenue in Santa Cruz.
