Skateboarder Injured After Crash at Front and Laurel Street Monday
Santa Cruz, CA (February 22, 2021) – A skateboard rider suffered injuries following a traffic accident in the area of Front and Laurel Street, the KION546 reported.
On Monday, at approximately 5:35 p.m., a vehicle struck an adult male riding a skateboard. Authorities briefly identified the rider as a 45-year-old male.

First responders found the skateboarder lying on the roadway. When medical personnel arrived at the site, they immediately rendered aid to the victim. After the evaluation, officers said the rider sustained serious injuries but non-life-threatening. Police continue to withhold the name of the patient pending confirmation.
Our sources mentioned the driver stopped after the crash and stayed in the area. The unidentified motorist reportedly cooperated with the investigation process.
